Casa incrível, equipada com imenso bom gosto e com tudo o que é necessário. Ideal para conhecer São Martinho do Porto e Alcobaça. A piscina para crianças e os equipamentos para eles (trampolim, baloiços, ping pong, bicicletas...) são perfeitos para passar um dia em casa sem ser necessário sair. Tem uma mercearia e uma padaria a 10min a pé da casa. A repetir sem dúvida.

Our stay at Casa do Melgaço was simply outstanding: the house was spotless, beautifully appointed, and perfectly located for discovering the charm of nearby village. From the moment Sara welcomed us with her genuine warmth, she anticipated every need—friendly check-ins, top-notch recommendations, and thoughtful touches throughout. Impeccable service, a cozy atmosphere, and a host who truly cares made this an unforgettable retreat.

Nothing wrong to pinpoint.

We liked everything. Location was not important for us, it was a pit stop on the road to Braga. But it is very cute, quiet and comfortable.

It was cosy and quiet, nice pool area, and Sara the host was always taking care that we had enough food for breakfast, delivering fresh bread to the door every morning. Food waste was avoided by individual ordering, which we appreciated very much.

Individual breakfast on the other hand meant we had to ask for everything we liked, and we didn't really want to be a burden, so we asked less and bought additional things ourselves... Some things like the terrace could use a little maintenance.

Pool ,privacy,clean, Sara was very helpful.

In August the minimum night for staying are 7, its too much for this location if you are traveling to sights seeing . If it’s only for relax/family vacation so 7 days might be good
