Casa do Avô Silva

Localización perfecta, con parking para el coche. Vistas panorámicas muy bonitas.Tiene terraza con barbacoa, aunque nosotros no la utilizamos. Bien equipada.

No es que no me gustara pues además es parte de su encanto, los muebles son efectivamente como los de la casa de tu abuelo. La puerta del dormitorio principal no cerraba (no encajaba). Pero el baño y la cocina estaban renovados, cómodos y amplios.

Casa de 3 habitaciones cómoda. Menaje suficiente y lavadora disponible. Patio amplio y bien comunicado aunque hay que ir a todos sitios en coche.

Todo bien. Unicamente las mesas y sillas del patio un poco sucias (se notaba que no habían tenido uso últimamente)

The location was very good, it has a nice view of the Flores Airport and Santa Cruz das Flores. Good for watching planes landing and taking off a few times a day if you like that sort of thing. It was qeuipped wth all the essential supplies to stay for a few days and do laundry, etc. Contained spices etc. for cooking. Generally happy with the choice. A few welcome drinks were also waiting for us.

The induction cooking stove was partly broken and took us a while to figure out how to start it through error messages. The owner tried to help over WhatsApp but we eventually figured it out ourselves.

The host was attentive about us having a good stay. The location was very close to the aurport, yet quiet at the same time. Everything was very clean, and the kitchen was very well equipped. The bathroom shower had great water pressure . Overall we enjoyed our stay very

The fan/ventilator in the bathroom was very loud.

IT was clean, very good equiped. It was fun to have a view to the airport.

We had a great stay at Casa do Avô Silva house. The location is wonderful, with a great upper view on the ocean from the terrace. The place is quite (airport is nearby, but just 2 or 3 small islands planes during the day only, so no problem at all) and also with some very nice natural sea-pool (or tidal pool) nearby. Flores island was our favorite among the others, so for sure we highly recommend this place. (I will add that Bruno was so kind to send back the headset my friend forgot, Thank you so much Bruno !)

We had a very pleasant stay at this house. The location was great, I appreciated having the sign on the house to find it. We love sitting at the back terrance overlooking and the view. Super helpful to have dishwasher/ laundry etc along with detergent, pods, and soaps. We were well stocked with supplies (even napkins and enough toilet paper, garbage bags etc which I really appreciated) and helped us keep the house clean too :) There was enough space in the house very pleasant. Host was great, good communication, even had some small welcome items for us.

There was no air conditioning which made it hard to sleep- when we opened up the windows for the cooler air we were kept awake in the evenings as there were several dogs taking their turns barking all night (so that was super frustrating sleep wise). We even wore ear plugs but that didnt help. We had access to one fan on a timer- would be great if more fans were available for use to help with sleeping. The driveway is located on a slope (you drive downhill and then drive up to park), when you back up its a bit tricky (you have watch you dont back down the slope off the side, while making sure there isnt another car racing down the road). We always had one spotter outside when backing up to ensure safety.
