Breathtaking views, very nicely equipped house, lovely host. We were truly amazed, excellent value for money!

We loved everything!!

The house is in an amazing location, right in the countryside. The facilities are great too, you'll find everything you need inside. The cats that live there come as a bonus. Perfect place to base yourself if you want to explore Retezat national park.

The house is in a picturesque setting, the terrace, the garden, the dining room and one of the bedrooms overlook the lake, and the first garden and the other bedroom overlook the Retyezát mountains. Ideal accommodation for exploring the northern part of the Retyezát Mountains: all three entrances of the national park are within reach by car. The house is spacious and equipped with everything, really everything. (towels, toiletries, cleaning products, spices in the kitchen, everything for grilling outside, etc.) It was the best equipped accommodation we have ever been to. They welcomed me with a welcome package of vegetables and homemade jam.

The hydromassage in the tub and shower didn't work, or at least we couldn't turn it on, but it wasn't important enough to ask the host about it.

View to the lake and mountains

This place was so lovely and nurturing, I can't even describe it. The location is fantastic, barely any neighbours, the garden continues with a lovely 5 min walk to the lake, and the view... Retezat peak is right there, looking down on your vacation. Absolute food for soul.

The view , the silence, the fact that you have everything you need and it feels like home. The Host was very open to suggestions and we had a really nice conversation on the phone.

The lack of mosquito net at the windows… in the evening was not that pleasant in some of the rooms, with no AC. But it seams all the problems are in changing process already, the house was bought not that long ago.

Home away from home…the property had everything you need to feel like home, the view is gorgeous. Can’t wait to comeback in autumn but for sure will book more days as a weekend was not enough for us :).

The feeling when we had to leave this beautiful property that gave us such a good energy and beautiful experience.
