Elins Lycka i Viken

Charming quirky cottage with lots of character in a superb location. We would certainly use it again for our next visit

Shower room floor was extremely slippery when wet. Rubber mats would be a good idea. The shower head needs replacing as water just trickled out of it with little power. New shower curtain needed. Provision of kettle would have been nice. We looked everywhere for one but couldn't find one so used a saucepan to boil water for our drinks. A hairdryer would have been a bonus too.

Charmerande! Personligt. Sköna sängar (stora sovrummet ). Mycket välförsett med husgeråd.

Mycket begränsat antal tv-kanaler. Värt att notera att det är lågt i tak i den äldsta delen. Samt brant trappa upp till övervåningen ( som vi inte nyttjade ).

Excellent location: Lovely little town, some decent restaurants, bakery and supermarket within walking distance.

It is an old cottage, very charming, but with low ceilings, so for tall persons, this can be a challenge.

Very cosy house, perfect place to find some calm and have a relaxed time. The village is beautiful and the beach is a short walk away. Restaurants and a small supermarket (well stocked) are close by. I recommend.

Very cozzy house.

Wonderful atmospheric place, breathing family history in a light and friendly way, and wonderfully cared for by Carin, as host. The fact that we and our dog were allowed to use the garden during Carin's out-of-office hours was a wonderful addition (otherwise a very nice terrace is available anyway). All in place. Viken is a beautiful place full of these captain's houses but Elin's Lycka is outstanding. Oh and then there is the great Oeresund bakery and cafe next door...

The telly did not seem to have an abundance of channels - but then, who needs a telly in this place??!! (and we had some fun learning some Danish during the 2024 Summer Olympics; and there is a wonderful library for those who either know Swedish or dabble in learning some...)
