Great location, host is friendly and helps every need (scooter rental, taxi, laundry)

The rooms didn't get cleaned, but we only stayed for 3 nights so maybe they'll clean for longer stays

It was peaceful yet well located for exploring the island. The host really looked after us and was easily reachable. She arranged transfers and a scooter, which was waiting for us when we arrived. Well worth 300 baht per day. Essential for exploring the island and different restaurants. Try On the Sea!

No beach or good swimming. The bathroom was a bit smelly and the kitchen ill equipped. There’s a lot of building work in the area, but it wasn’t too bothersome.

The view and place is pretty

When we arrived, they tried to give us a different cabin. It was nice, but it was not the one I had booked — I had reserved a larger family cabin that was also significantly more expensive. When I pointed this out to the lady who looks after and cleans the property, her first reaction was to yell at me and tell me that if I didn’t like it, I should just leave. At first I thought it might be a language barrier, so I tried to calmly explain again, but she kept raising her voice and repeating that we should leave and that they would refund us (which is not even how it works through Booking). Eventually she showed us the correct cabin that I had booked. However, from that moment on she continued to make our stay very uncomfortable instead of relaxing. She was extremely controlling about the air conditioning. Even if we went out for a short walk to buy water nearby, she would message us constantly. If we opened a window to go to the terrace, she would immediately message saying we had to turn the AC off. We felt constantly monitored. Then, when she saw there were three of us in the cabin (which is a family cabin with a main bedroom and another bed in the living area, and the Booking listing even allows adding extra beds), she insisted that I was not allowed to stay there and that I had to pay more. This happened in the morning while we were sitting down for breakfast on the terrace — on my birthday. I explained that I had already added the guest on Booking and that if there was any issue they should contact me through the platform. However, she started loudly arguing on the phone with her boss right in front of us for about 20 minutes, and when she hung up she simply walked away without telling us anything — we never even received confirmation that the three of us were allowed to stay. Unfortunately, I forgot her name, but this woman turned what could have been a 10/10 stay into a 2/10.

Wir waren zu früh zum Check in angekommen. Wurden sehr kurz und erst mal karg empfangen. Einen Roller den wir anfragten haben wir innerhalb von 10 Minuten erhalten, ganz unkompliziert und zuverlässig. Das war toll.

Die Kommunikation hat überhaupt nicht stattgefunden, wann gereinigt wird, wann Müll geleert wird und wann es frische Handtücher gibt. Schade. Haben der Besitzerin dann per WhatsApp geschrieben, was wir brauchen und es klappte tadellos. Die beiden Geckos im Zimmer, die Nachts störten ;-)

Zwar am Wasser aber kein Strand und nicht Bade tauglich Würde keine Unterkunft ohne Frühstück mehr buchen weil lästig und Restaurants überwiegend morgens geschlossen

Amazing stay. Location is a bit remote but very quiet. We had a very good night sleep and this doesn’t really happen much in Thailand due to noise pollution. It was the first time after 1 month in Thailand when we slept without earplugs. Big spacious room with a small kitchenette, and a huge terrace. Woods behind the house and a lot of greenery. Sea front location but no sunset view. Private taxi transportation to/from Manoh Pier available at a reasonable price. Scooters available for rental as well.

Really hot in the bathroom, no ventilation. The small halls in the wall don’t help much. Through here can get bugs and mosquitoes everywhere (we had some spiders and red cockroaches) - would be best to close them with a net or something to avoid them in the room. A lot of mosquitoes and no spray/smoke on the terrace to prevent a bit.

Il bungalow era molto carino, con un patio dal quale si vedeva il mare. Per raggiungere le spiagge principali bisogna prendere il motorino, che può essere affittato direttamente in struttura. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo!

Trevligt område. Bra med restaurang nära och enkelt att låna moppe. Bra med eget kök för att fixa frukost.
