What a beautiful home! The home blends in so well with the gorgeous natural environment surrounding the property. Reda was very responsive and though we didn't get to meet her, she was very kind in every interaction. Home was very comfy, loved that there was laundry facilities with powder provided. Enjoyed the magazines and new zealand books as well as the selection of dvds. Great place to unwind after being on the road for days. Location is very close to many natural wonders of the west coast, only 15 minutes from Punakaiki and half an hour from Greymouth. Can only hope to be able to stay here again when on that side of the world again!

This was a quiet, comfy cottage with plenty of room and a good sized kitchen with all the facilities. The beds were comfortable with extra blankets, several towels and an unexpected chocolate-nice touch. There was a lovely lounge area and dining section. The outdoor area was well set up and relaxing. It was located nicely between Greymouth and the Pancake rocks.

The oven and stove area could use some updating.

Love the house, has a lot of character and comfort - having dinner on the deck every evening was a highlight. Reda was a wonderful host - friendly and welcoming, and provided lots of great recommendations. Location is fantastic as well, convenient to both Punakaiki and Greymouth.

The feel of the place was very homely yet felt like a story book. The location is truly spectacular.

Everything! It’s practical, having all the amenities of modern living. Yet, it has a delightful rustic charm that appeals to the traveller who wants to unwind. Herbs in the garden, birds singing, no one can see you, untamed natural vegetation surrounding you just 1 minute off the main highway. Which I will add for city folk is an old world two lane highway. We recommend to all lifestyles.

Not that it was an issue as we already knew. Have insect repellent just in case. We were told to keep windows closed when sun went down, so it wasn’t an issue.
