Jon Thaihouse

Wir sind eine deutsch-thailändische Familie und haben das Jon Thaihouse vom 30. März bis 13. April 2026 gebucht. Wie der Name schon sagt, bietet Jon das Haus als typisch thailändisches Haus an; es ist keine Villa, kein 5-Sterne-Hotel, sondern ein richtiges Thai-Haus. Wir waren zu viert: Erste Person: Die Mutter meiner Frau, mit ihren 85 Jahren. Sie liebt Buddha, thailändisches Essen und Facebook für Senioren – also Fernsehen. Meine Schwiegermutter fand sofort ihr perfektes Zimmer im Zwischengeschoss – ein sehr großes Zimmer mit Fernseher und großem Balkon. … Zweite Person: Unser 36-jähriger thailändischer Sohn fand ebenfalls sofort sein perfektes Zimmer. Im ersten Stock, links. Da unser Sohn gerne allein ist und sein Handy sein Lieblingsspielzeug ist, fühlte er sich in seinem Zimmer sofort wie zu Hause. 3. Person Meine Frau, 55 Jahre alt. Sie kommt aus Thailand und mag die Sonne nicht, weil man davon braun wird, und in Thailand bedeutet Bräune Armut, da man draußen arbeiten muss. Aber Jon Thaihouse hat auch dafür die perfekte Lösung: das Zimmer im ersten Stock, rechts, mit Fenster zum Innenhof. Es ist ruhig, kühl und bekommt keine direkte Sonneneinstrahlung. 4. Person Ich, ein 66-jähriger Deutscher. Da ich viele Jahre selbstständig war, hatte ich keine Zeit für Urlaub und war seit 20 Jahren nicht mehr in Thailand. Wir haben uns in Jon Thaihouse sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt und die Master-Suite im zweiten Stock genommen. Das Zimmer ist wie eine kleine Wohnung, ich schätze etwa 50 Quadratmeter groß, mit Wohnzimmer und Arbeitsbereich, natürlich einem Badezimmer mit Dusche und WC und einem Schlafbereich mit einer Aussicht, die man für Geld nicht kaufen kann. Dank Klimaanlage und Ventilator ist der Raum unter dem Dach angenehm kühl, wenn die Klimaanlage richtig eingestellt ist. Der kleine Balkon bietet eine tolle Aussicht und abends Livemusik aus dem kleinen Pub gegenüber. Danke Jon für einen super Aufenthalt siehe auch Google Bewertung Jon Thaihouse

The house was lovely and suited our needs 100%. The 4 bedrooms are all have bathrooms and have good air con when the weather's hot. The swimming pool is nice and the there's a beautiful beaches 5 minutes walk away. There are local shops and restaurants. We like authentic Thai food (not Western Thai food) and we could find this locally. We had a car so could visit places in the area although we did have a night out in Hua Hin and the taxi back seemed to be a flat rate 2of 200 Baht, with no battering so we gladly gave a tip for the lack of hassle and safe return.

Payment: we were given the details of a Thai Bank account to pay for the accommodation. We have access to a Thai bank account so was ok for us but might not be so easy if you didn't. Check-in: we were due to meet someone at the property to get let in. This didn't happen and we had to phone the owner in Norway. The keys had been left but this wasn't communicated. No problems once we knew where the keys were left. Check out: we were due to hand over the keys and get our deposit back in cash. This didn't happen although the deposit was returned quickly but to our Thai Bank account. This worked for us although not sure what would have happened if we didn't have a Thai Bank account? Again no hassle for us except not having the cash for petrol as planned.

Everything you need for a family. Cheap, good snd convenient

The fridge isn't cold enough. Took a while to chill drinks. The microwave is a bit dirty we saw some metal flakes on food when using it to grill
