Villa Neto

The property was very spacious and very cleaned. All the essentials were there. The view from the balcony was incredible. There’s a porch to park the car which prevent too much heating. The house is located in a very quiet place. The garden is beautiful and very peaceful, and safe for children to play. The owners were very welcoming throughout our stay. They kindly shared some toys for our toddler which was a very nice touch. Calheta is a great place to stay at when visiting Madeira. It is very calm and quiet, whilst not being far from Funchal. There is a lovely beach less than 10min drive away, and a supermarket with all the basics and more. We couldn’t be happier about the house, the location, and our stay there. We’re already looking at coming back next year and will surely book this beautiful villa again!

The house was just like on the pictures, very clean and well maintained. The view from the balcony is fantastic and there are interesting places conveniently reachable from Villa Neto.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Vila Neto during our holidays in Madeira, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the friendly host went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. One of the highlights of the Vila was its stunning garden. It was beautifully maintained, and we enjoyed spending our mornings and evenings. There were also two sunbeds which was a fantastic addition, allowing us to soak up the sun and unwind in the tranquil setting. Maybe just a few dogs barking in the background, but they weren't annoying. The view of the ocean from the Vila was simply breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of the sparkling waters was a dream come true. Whether we were lounging on the terrace or enjoying a meal outside, the mesmerizing view added an extra touch of serenity to our stay, especially after long-day hikes and walks. What truly stood out during our time at the Vila was Carlos's(host) exceptional service. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable information about the area and suggesting local attractions worth visiting. Whenever we had a question or needed assistance, they were always there, attentive and willing to help. Of course, need to mention that reaching the vila was not easy, but only for the first time. The road is not as terrible as it may appear at first glance. Overall, I highly recommend the Vila Neto for a memorable holiday experience. If we will be back in Madeira - we will stay at Vila Neto again.
