The host was so nice and accomodating, she helped our taxi driver navigate the drop off point and even came to pick us up. The house was simple but very nice, location was so convenient, it felt like you're one of the locals, it was also just few minutes away from the old street. Free breakfast was also provided

It's is a very unique property. You quickly feel like you are one of the residents of Jiufen. It's fun for kids with the upstairs loft. The host is a very lovely, thoughtful and caring person.

Needed more hot water for shower/bath.

Very cute place, love the loft. Good location, only a few minutes away from the old street. Host is responsive by message.

Shower temperature is extremely finicky, goes back and forth between cold and steaming hot on its own. The place is a bit difficult to get to with luggage during the day, as the old street is very packed/busy. (you could probably get there along the road, but we took the bus.)

Very short walk to the old street. Host met us at a nearby reserved parking spot and escorted us to the apartment. A few treats and drinks in the fridge were thoughtful and convenient. Host was very nice. Great for family of four, but would also be pleasant for a couple.

The host met us at the property to give us the keys and show us around. She was very friendly and had even stocked some food in the fridge for us. The property was as cute as it looked in the pictures, and the bathtub was wonderful. The water heater was amazing! I highly suggest you take a bath if you stay here. The air conditioners worked great, the electric outlet by the bed platform on the first floor included USB slots, and the little seating area outside that overlooked the valley made a perfect place to have you breakfast or enjoy a late night cup of tea.

The house so cute, the host is great hospitalality and very responsive.

1. Friendly owner. The owner, a Taiwanese lady waited for us to arrive at the property and she introduced the whole property to us including its history and the amenities available upon our arrival (very welcoming). She even made an effort to prepare hotdog buns for breakfast , puddings and Guava for us!!! 2. The cleanliness of the property is amazing, you won’t see dust at any common areas and won’t make you feel uncomfortable during your stay. 3. Amenities that are available. In the property you will find dehumidifier (very helpful during rainy season), air conditioning, microwave, a stove and a kettle. With these amenities we can have our supper comfortably in the property.

1. The water heater don’t seems like it’s working properly, it does provide hot water but sometimes the temperature will go up and down, hope that improvements can be taken.
