Pearl's Place

The convenience of this location is absolutely perfect! Definitely walkable to everything you would need downtown! This is my family’s second time staying at Pearl’s place, and it will be our choice every time we decide to pay Gettysburg visit! The house is so spacious, and a plus being pup friendly!(:

The hosts were very easy to work with. The house was very clean which we really appreciated. We also loved the location which was close to everything. Our group of six adults stayed in the house very comfortably. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay and I’m not sure I’d say there were any real complaints. I would agree that the traffic sounds were a little louder than we were used to but the location was worth it.

The house was comfortable and an easy walk into town. It is about a mile walk to the lower part of Baltimore Street and over Steinwern, but an easy walk if able. The house is large and fit my family of five very comfortably. The kitchen has enough items to make breakfast and the local Giant Store is just a short drive up York Street. It truly was a home away from home. Personal parking spots behind house was a huge plus.

Because it is on York Street, a major road in and out of town, the traffic is busy and the trucks are very loud even at night. New window covering in bathroom upstairs is needed. They are broken and doesn't cover the window well which faces the street. The front bedroom facing the street is the room that will get the traffic noise and new window coverings for that room is needed. The street light at night brings a glow into the room and the sun will wake you up.

Beds were comfortable. They provided tons of information and pamphlets of things to do. Unfortunately I was only passing through and was at the home for only about 10 hours to sleep and relax from a long drive. I will definitely look at staying there in the future.

We loved that it is pet friendly. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was great for strolling around town.

Some sort of lighting at the back of the home (ie a motion light), in order to see better when walking in from the car or taking pets outside at night, would be helpful.

What we liked most was that we could walk everywhere. It was a perfect location. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had.
