"Charming."

10.0

We liked the location, the sounds of the roosters crowing in the morning, watching the horses graze in the field next to the cabin, sitting in the swings feeling the cool breeze on the porch. Melvin was so helpful and pleasant to us during our stay, telling us the history of the cabin and taking us for rides in his ATV around the area. Needless to say we had and wonderful time during our stay at "Precious Mountain Memories". We highly recommend this cabin for those seeking a quiet escape.

Fully furnished and scenic. Beautiful cabin with a great view.

The beds were terrible (didn't sleep at all) . Cold shower ( like no hot water! ) Owner was intrusive when we arrived, wasn't sure how long he planned to stay after he sat down at the table.

"Highly recommend Mountain Memory Cabin Rental for the true hand built country cabin experience."

10.0

The Gabbard family are welcoming, thoughtful hosts who make you feel like part of their family from the moment you arrive. Our purpose in Owsley Country is to create an economic impact through offroad motorsports events in conjunction with the VFD, schools, and Buckhorn Children’s Society. During our stay, we enjoy exploring local favorites such as the Old Bus Stop and Hilltop Pizza restaurants, 160 Dragon Slayer Welcome Center, the Woolly Worm Festival, and the beautiful trails of the DBBB (Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway). The surrounding backroads are full of hidden gems — from the historic train tunnel to the neighboring cave system — that truly showcase the spirit of Appalachia. We wish them continued success as they consider expanding their property into a travel destination for hikers, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts. This cabin has become a home away from home for our team, and we look forward to returning each next year. — The Volunteer Staff of the 24 Hours of Appalachia, a Backroads of Appalachia off-road rally series.

Everything was perfect.
