Drop Anchor Cottages and Lake House

Location is great, plenty of amenities.

Was a nice quiet place other than the screen door slamming due to the wind with no way to latch it.

Very clean had everything you would recommend to all my friends

This house was so cute, and clean. Decorated so nice and had nice little touches to help you enjoy your stay. Loved the screened in porch and the quaint sitting area outside by the flower beds. Also had a fire pit that was enjoyable when the evening cooled off. Would recommend and we will come back. Thank you

We had three couples and shared the one bath. But that was the only thing we didn’t like. We worked out a schedule and it was fine

Messaged the host and was told room key code was last 4 digits of cell phone. Didn’t see that anywhere in the booking but owner was responsive.

Toilet made dripping noise all day/night. No leaking noted.

The cottage was clean and just the right size for the 2 of us

The step coming into the house was so incredibly dangerous and so hard to get in and out of the cottage!! And you couldn’t leave the door open because there was a gap between the door and floor so bugs and mice could get in

I loved that it had enough sleeping areas for my husband and 2 kids but was laid out in a way that we could still keep an eye on/listen for them. It was cozy with plenty of blankets, kitchen supplies, extra toiletries. There was a pack and play with sheets for my daughter and everything was clean.

As you would expect from an older property, there were things like a dripping toilet, noisy window air conditioner, and doors that didn’t quite close all the way.

Super cute and convenient stay. It worked out great for us. Will return!

A little pricy for two nights. The air conditioning wasn’t good. Even with all the fans blowing it was miserably hot
