Drop Anchor Cottages and Lake House

There was a picnic table and a couple of chairs for an outside sitting area. The location was convenient for a lake on the Geneva stay.

If you are looking for a luxury, modern, or upscale cottage this isn’t your place. This is a very basic cottage, which was fine for us bc we were last minute reservation and just looking for a place to sleep. We were more interested in checking out the lake and knew we wouldn’t be in the cottage much. The air didn’t get very cold in cottage 3. The couch is really hard. Beds were not very comfortable. However, it did the job … which was a local place to stay.

I liked everything else. I loved having extra bathroom necessities and everything we may have needed while we were there. The house was really clean and well looked after. It was over all a really good weekend here.

I didnt like the price for a 3 day stay. I paid 1,475.00 for 3 nights. And I didn't like random guests showing up looking for where they were supposed to stay on the property. I feel that issue needs to be better communicated within booking. (We had people peering into our windows and deck looking for the owner having no knowledge of where they were staying.) Also, the description said the house slept 10 and I felt like 8 was the maximum amount of people who could actually sleep comfortably there.
