The house was very cozy, I felt safe sharing with my family in the middle of nature and the location is strategically perfect for visiting the surrounding places.

The cabin would have been perfect IF clean

No one cleaned the cabin before or during our stay, We lived with last persons full garbage bag the whole stay. We needed to purchase toilet paper because none was delivered until between 5-6pm the second day. Floor in kitchen was sticky, We needed to clean up after last guests to be able to live there. Toilets dirty, tablecloth dirty. counter tops dirty. I have sent photos to person taking care of the property.

"MOLD-RODENT URINE AND POOP EVERYWHERE. Safer in a tent."

There is nothing to like about this property. The host is very deceptive and offers the world but doesn’t follow through.

This property is filled with rodent urine and feces. I smelled it upon entry and could see it on couches, beds, cabinets, drawers, closets, and floors. The fridge and dressers had significant amounts of mold on and in them. We left the property 3 hours into our two night stay bc we started getting headaches. When I notified the host she was apologetic and did not refund me at all. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH!!!

"Cozy mountain cottage"

The setting was perfect, quiet, saw some deer. The location from Jim Thorpe was perfect. The cottage is really cute and it is worth going to. The bathrooms were spotless.

There were mouse droppings on kitchen counter, table, and cupboard under sink. After cleaning the table and counter, we did see just a few each day, never saw a mouse. The mattress could use a mattress cover...it had some stains that could've been cleaned too.
