Plenty of room for everyone. Very comfy home. Convenient location but just off the beaten track enough to feel secluded.

Can’t think of anything.

The pool was awesome, actually all the house was awesome.

None of us were unhappy with anything.

"If you want to be cursed at by owner and staff, find scorpions and insects in the home, stay here."

1. The property had a defective AC system during the stay as the temperatures exceeded 110 Fahrenheit, making it hazardous to be in the home. I had contacted the homeowner, and the homeowner sent an AC contractor out to fix the AC system. The contractor that came out stated that he has been out to the home several times on previous occasions, and had informed the owner that the system installed in the home was undersized to effectively cool the home during standard Texas weather, let alone during the hottest season. The contractor also stated that he had previously, on several occasions, informed the owner that the system was undersized and would fail, but the owner neglected to do anything about it, and now it was failing during the hottest season while we were staying there. The owner knew this and contacted me directly, and said that we could use the casita and the rec room by the pool to compensate for the loss of use of the area of the home with no AC. However, the casita was filthy, small, and also did not have a working AC system; therefore we could not utilize this area either, not even for one night. When I was provided access to the Rec room building by the pool, I discovered that it was a hazard to use, as the floor by the bar was flooded. There was a shop vac, a dehumidifier, mop and buckets, along with other various construction tools all over the floor. The bar top had razor blades, a construction knife, along with other various construction debris on it. All this looked like someone was using all these items to remove the water but failed and left everything all over the REC room. All these things were documented, owners were notified, and when the owner came out to the property, he stated that he knew about this problem and was under the impression that the problem was resolved, apparently it wasn't.

2. In addition to the above, one day I heard my child screaming while he was in the bathroom, when I came into the bathroom, I saw a scorpion on the floor next to the toilet while my son was on the toilet. I killed the scorpion. The next day I again discovered yet another scorpion in the rec room, again I had to kill it. When the owner was notified of this, they said it was "not uncommon" and would have pest control come out to deal with the problem. Pest control did not come out. 3. The toilet in the Master bathroom at the front of the home did not work. The owners were notified of this and came out to fix it, but it failed again after he left. 4. The pool water was dirty and had debris at the bottom of the pool. There was an extension cord laying near the pool which we later discovered was plugged into the outlet. We discovered this when my son stepped on the extension cord and was zapped by electricity. 5. The dishes in the kitchen cabinets of the home were dirty and some were damaged or broken. Again the owners were notified of this but failed to do anything about it. 6. Finally as I was checking out, the cleaners (who were the son and daughter of the owner as I found out later), were rude and hostile, cursing in front of my kids at me, told me to go F*&^#@ clean up the cocaine and razor blades on the bar. This "cocaine" that they were referring to, was the construction debris mentioned above in the rec room near the pool. When I showed them the pictures that I took from the time when we provided access to the pool rec room, and that it was the construction debris, razor blades, and construction razor knife left behind by their construction workers and not "cocaine" the son of the owner became very aggressive and hostile, got in my face and said "F U, I left that knife there when i was working, but the bar was clean, besides, I know cocaine when I see it, I snorted pounds of it.
