The property had a lovely view over the Xisto village (Candal) and all the amenities needed (the heating was perfect for a cold place like the mountains, cutlery, cooking utensils, wood for the fireplace, etc)

It didn’t catch a lot of direct sunlight so it can be quite dark during the day, but that wasn’t an issue since the purpose of our trip was to hike and visit the mountains during the day and relax with a wood fireplace at night :)

Amazing little space in heaven. The house is beautiful with amazing views. Perfect space to rest and a super romantic escape! In the house there is all you need from shampoo to kitchen utilities. I loved it much that I am coming back very soon ❤️

View and peacefulness of the place is outstanding. Cozy open space living room+kitchen with wood stove. Amazing sunsets.

Several facilities were not working properly.. heating was firing down the electric main board if rooms heating and watering heating were simultaneously on (in the winter mountains a proper heating isa must) Toillet flushing was broken. Toaster was not working. Tea bolt was difficult/broken to handle. Difficult to reach from asphalt street (or impossible) if with any less fit person, being and advantage of being on top of the village. upwards trail of the village was not feasible for standard cars.

The location was superb and the view is outstanding. Very quiet and that is exactly what we wanted. There were very few people about - not in the big tourist routes so was very nice. Exceptionally quiet and very stress relieving location. The walks in the are are fantastic.

To access the house there are 167 very steep steps (in some locations) from the village road. If you are not very able bodied that could be a problem. My wife has knee problems so getting suit cases to the house or getting shopping up and down was the only negative part.
