"Spectacular house!"

This place was one of the best houses I’ve ever stayed. Kitchen was splendidly equipped. Rooms, living room, yards; briefly all places decorated amazing and cozy. Beds and couches very comfortable. Fireplace, bbq, laundry, dryer, indoor and outdoor games and other stuffs I couldn’t count right now; all were really amazing. In addition, owner was very helpful and always replied very short time. Thanks a lot for all of these!

I wish I hadn’t stayed here because I never wanted to go back home again😭

Starfire Retreat was very cute, clean, well stocked kitchen. Had drawing paper and colored pencils to share some special art with owner, vintage record player, etc. Small but comfortable and plenty of room to relax and enjoy the desert outside and star gaze. Pretty chilly in evening for us so not much star gazing (february).

The road to get there. So rocky, I’ve never driven in dirt like that. But it was do able

"Perfect for stargazing and Joshua Tree access"

Secluded but not far from down town. Great amenities and so relaxing.

You do need to go down a dirt road to get there, but the owner provides helpful instructions on how to get there and it adds to the adventure!

"A desert getaway - a dream come true ✨🌵"

What a fun, comfortable and inspiring place to experience the beautiful desert. We enjoyed star gazing and getting up early to see the sunrise as well. The musical instruments and indoor & outdoor games were a nice addition to our stay! We loved this place.

A real hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. The house is absolutely amazing, well stocked, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It truly felt like home away from home. There is nothing you could lack here. Fully stocked and well equipped kitchen and laundry room, breakfast snacks from the hosts, beautiful BBQ area, grill, hot tub, books, board games, vinyl record player, and even a telescope! We didn't wanna leave this place. The dirt road to the property might be a bit challenging for smaller cars, but the instructions from the host were spot on, and the ride was a lovely adventure.

"Stargazing heaven!"

Beautiful location and a real home away from home. Had everything you could need. The stargazing bed was amazing!! Close to Joshua tree National Park and lots of great places to eat. Highly recommended!

Nothing to fault! It was great!
