Mill Cottage

The house is very beautiful and the porch is such a lovely place to have coffee and relax, We actually ate pizza on the porch in the rain!! Door dash!! The house was spotless and the farmhouse sink in kitchen was to die for. The modern updates ( dishwasher, washer, dryer and fridge) make it very easy to stay in even though we were there for a very active festival. The yard had flowers and gorgeous landscaping. The home is really almost walking distance to downtown Tupelo and several resturants and shops. It was hard to resist the urge just to stay and relax!

The iron beds fit the decor of the house but could have been more comfortable. A recliner in livingroom would be great too. Handrails would be nice on the 2 or 3 steps up the porch. One shower had a grab bar, but one did not. Handheld shower heads would be nice too. The house was built in the 1920's so it smells like an older house, Not bad,,, but you do notice it when you first walk in.

We cooked our own breakfast in the kitchen. All the things we needed were there as far as pots pans dishes, etc. We ate out a couple times.

I really liked everything. Only complaints would be the water pressure but that wasn't that big of a deal and windows or screens could use cleaning. But again not that big of a deal. I love this house!!!!!
