Casa do Sr. Falcão

De ontvangst door de gastvrouw was buitengewoon: lief, vriendelijk, fier op het verleden van haar familie...Alles kon je haar vragen. Ze sprak enkel Portugees, maar zo duidelijk, traag een geduldig dat je toch alles verstond. Het huis zelf was uit de geschiedenis gegrepen, alles wat er stond was antiek, maar in zo'n mooie staat...het was alsof je 100 jaar terug werd gekatapulteerd. Prachtig. En het ontbijt, voor ons twee, was zo rijkelijk.

Er was slechts 1 badkamer voor 4 slaapkamers en je moest van de slaapkamers door de living om ze te bereiken, en er wwas ook geen keukentje, wel een ijskast, koffiezet, waterkoker en microgolf oven, maar door gebrek aan water op die plaats kan je niet echt iets koken.

O pequeno-almoço feito pela D. Filomena foi ótimo, variado e com pão fresco feito pelo padeiro. O alojamento situa-se num local muito sossegado, com um jardim bonito e refrescante quando o calor aperta. A loja do Sr. Falcão é imperdível: um pequeno tesourinho mostrado pela anfitriã. Visitámos o Parque biológico da Serra da Lousã situado muito perto dali e que foi uma ótima surpresa. Valeu a pena e correu tudo muito bem.

Filomena is an exceptional and generous host. Beautifully kept house, magical and private garden, spotless, comfortable beds and first class linen. Wr experiences true Portuguese hospitality. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

It is an old place full of history. Fully furnished. Served the family for many years. Probably one of the old settlers in the village

The facilities are kind of old fashioned.

The breakfast was beautiful, the house and surrounding garden are like a dream and the owner is so kind and caring. We had an amazing, relaxing stay.

Unique historic house full of wonderful antiques. Lovely, gracious host. Senhora Filomena made us feel so welcome and shared the history of the house and attached store that has been in her family since 1878.

Excellent breakfast. This is very vintage house with a lot of space and charme.
