Casita - Cantinho do Paraíso

We had the best welcone !! The view is anazing and the hosts are super nice !! We love our stay in the casita and the forest is nice to walk and relax!! Do the bee workshop it is very nice experience!!

This is a really amazing place, you are alone on a hill with a magnificent view, it's stunning. All what you'll need will be there, from a little coffee for your first morning, to a little pasta, rice, condiments to cook, vinegear, oil, there is just everything and plenty of plates, and other things to make nice food up there. If you want to grill, there are 3 grill places, with a principal one near the house, with a water access nearby which is just so practical. Nearby a nice little table to sit down, have your meal outside, but there is also two others spots to eat. The bed and all linens are really comfortable you'll sleep like in cloud :) They also have a washing machine and dish washing machine, there is just everything. It's perfect ! If you like animals, there is an old lovely donkey lady around named Buddhi, she is really nice and love humans, we had some great walks with her. 😍 (she doesn't like to go up ) Just Amazing place, go there you won't regret.

Susana met us at the property, and was extremely welcoming. She really went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great stay. We loved meeting Buddhi the donkey. We were blown away by the views from the property, we got really lucky with the weather :)

We accidentally arrived two hours early, and so the gate wasn't open yet, so just make sure you are accurate when you let them know what time you will arrive. :)

Nice espresso machine, some breakfast cereal and milk provided. Well-equipped kitchen. Very comfortable bed, loved the bathtub conversion. The location is spectacular.

There is no source of heat or dehumidification outside of the bedroom. The main room needs some kind of space heater or fireplace. Also a chair or two in the main room would enhance the experience. Better description of the challenging access driveway needs to be provided if the weather is poor.

Fantastic place to relax, stunning view across the island and sea, discreet and very helpful staff, spacious areal with love to the detail - the pictures don‘t exaggerate!

Incredible view - unique spot, beautiful interior and a truly magical place. Susana and Néstor were very kind and great hosts. They informed us about great places and restaurants and gave great tips. The kitchen equipment was great and the apartment was furnished with much love and detail.

Since the casita is very integrated in the beautiful nature, mosquito nets on the windows would be an upgrade for the future to easily ventilate the apartment even at night - to keep the insects away.

This is a unique stunning location. The view from the house is like you are perched on the ledge above the world. Early mornings and early evenings are especially magical, when the sky and the air around you constantly change. The house is well stocked and has everything for a comfortable stay. Nestor created a beautiful garden and space.

This is the place you want to stay longer, while visiting Santa Maria. The house has got the best possible location to visit the whole island and offers stunning views of the area. And those sunsets… There is a large premises that’s “yours” to explore and use. You’ve got several benches to view the sunset, tiny tree house for children to play, a bed in the woods, a spot to relax and meditate among the garden (with lovely smelling flowers). There are multiple paths to go. It’s like you own botanical garden in your backyard. As for the house it’s in perfect condition, very well designed, with all the furniture and equipment one needs, even for a longer stay. The bathroom is awesome! And there is a separate bathtub with a romantic view of the stars above. The owners are awesome people, very helpful. They can arrange all kind of activities for you and also help to get along the island. With some luck (or charm) you can organize together a big barbecue and a lot about the history of the place and the island.

The beginning of the road up to the house - you need to be extra cautious here, then it gets better and it goes up high, so you need to get used to it ;)
