Très belle maison spacieuse et bien équipée. L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter Madère. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Juan qui nous a conseillés pour les visites et randonnées.

Ligging Jacuzzi was prima😊👍 Beheerder/eigenaar helemaal goed, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Bij de uitcheck een traditionele koek van Madeira meegekregen er attent en lekker 😋

De inrichting. Helaas was het meubilair oud en allerminst comfortabel. Bedden kraken en matrassen veel te hard. Er zijn geen goede terras stoelen die lekker zitten. Met een goede investering voor vervanging van meubilair, bedden 🛌 en terras stoelen zou deze accommodatie top 👍zijn.

Une maison très agréable, bien placée. Juan l'hôte a pensé à tout. Vous aurez juste besoin à déposer vos valises. Il m'a sauvé un t-shirt en laissant à disposition le produit vanish, il y a de la lessive normal et aussi pour enfant. A disposition huile, vinaigre etc et en cadeau de bienvenue une corbeille de fruits. Le jacuzzi était super après la randonnée. N'hésitez pas à demander à Juan si vous avez besoin de quelque chose. Pour ma part, les oreillers étaient trop durs. Il m'en a rapporté deux et c'était parfait. Je recommande cette maison qui est à 6 mn de la ville Ponta do sol en voiture.

Schitterende locatie, rustig gelegen, ruime parking, mooie tuin en gezellig terras. Vriendelijke gastheer die je thuis doet voelen en bereikbaar is. Veel comfort met BBQ, houtvuur etc.

De keuken mag vernieuwd worden, maar alles was wel aanwezig om te koken

Fantastic villa. Very spacious and all facilities needed. Large rooms, comnfy bed. Loved the spa bath on the upper balcony. So good for relaxing after strenuous levada walks. Great location for exploring the island. Ponta do Sol has plenty of facilities and is much more peaceful than Funchal as well as being more central. Free parking space on site. Best of all are the hosts - Catia & Juan. They really made sure we had anything we needed and were on hand to help when needed. Also muich appreciated the wine and liquir provided not to mention the lovely Madeira hoiney cake baked for us before we left. This is the second time we've stayed here and will definitely do so again of we return to Madeira.

Charmantes altes Haus, ein gutes Stück oberhalb von Ponta do Sol. Schöne Terrasse mit Garten und eigenem Parkplatz, toller Ausblick, Whirlpool auf der zweiten Terrasse im ersten Stock. Offener Kamin im Wohnzimmer (Holz steht bereit), Grill im Garten. Besonders möchte ich Juan, unseren extrem hilfsbereiten Gastgeber loben. Weil durch die dicken Steinmauern des Hauses das WLAN nicht sehr weit reichte (und wir online arbeiten wollten), hat Juan innerhalb kurzer Zeit uns das Haus provisorisch so verkabelt, dass wir arbeiten konnten (er wollte die Leitungen dann noch professionell verlegen lassen). Als neben dem Haus eine laute Baustelle eröffnet wurde, hat er uns kurzentschlossen in ein sogar noch besseres Haus umquartiert. Vielen Dank noch einmal dafür!

Das alte Haus hat schon einen sehr rustikalen Charme, auch von der Einrichtung her. Das muss man mögen. Unser Ding war es nicht so. Überall im Haus leuchteten zudem kaltweisse LEDs, das mag der Mitteleuropäer nicht (der Südeuropäer scheint das indes zu mögen). Es ist aber gut möglich, dass Juan schon bald warmweisse LEDs reingeschraubt haben wird. Man braucht ein gut motorisiertes Auto, um zum Haus zu kommen, denn die Straßen dahin sind teilweise extrem steil (wie oft auf Madeira). Für die Baustelle nebenan (Dezember 2025) konnte niemand was und wir haben ja ganz unbürokratisch eine neue Bleibe bekommen. Ich vermute, dass die laute Bautätigkeit bald aufgehört haben wird.

Excellent property in a great central location for exploring the island. Spacious house with private parking in a quiet residential area. The host Juan met us for check in, was polite and helpful. He bought us fresh fruit, wine and a local spirit as a welcome gift, and a homemade honey cake as a parting gift as well. Highly recommend.
