Peaceful, Picturesque Lake & Forest Retreat

This is a magnificent apartment with a lot of attention to detail, and all new inventory. The location is perfect: using the (freely usable) bikes, Stockholm is easily accessible, while on the other side of the house Nature starts, and you can walk around in a forest. But of course, at this price point, you would expect nothing less...

Beautiful location just outside of Stockholm. Easy access to buses into town and walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Beautiful, attached house on the lake. The accommodation offers peace and tranquility in nature with all advantages of a big city. 10 minutes walk to the shopping mall and 15 minutes drive/ bus stop in front of the house/ to Gmala Stan. Hous is beautifuly furnished and equipped with. Pristine clean. Welcoming gifts. Host very engaged and helpful. We staied for a week and were sorry to leave.

Gorgeous location and perfect little touches that made the stay special.

We love the ambiance, the view, and we're still in awe after more than a week of staying at the lakehouse. The furnishings are all in good condition and super clean. We can use the bicycles and are provided with helmets for each of us. We can have tea at the cozy patio facing the lake and also the "GlassHouse". The view was beyond words. It was a holiday that turned into a very welcoming home sweet home for us. Our first time in Stockholm, Sweden, was amazing with a first introduction to the place we stayed: "THE LAKEHOUSE.'".

Not that we didn't like it but a TV would be great at least we can watch the local current news of Sweden and the TV programs.

Exquisitely peaceful and beautiful lakeside and forest setting. This retreat will stand out as one of my most memorable stays of all my travels, especially taking in the sunset on our final night! Dealing with Sofia was a delight and her flexibility and responsiveness were greatly appreciated. Lovely apartment; very well appointed.

The little retreat is absolutely peaceful & beautiful. It’s clean, fully equipped and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner on the deck next to the water and hiking on the trail just behind the house.

There are quite a lot of rules to keep the place clean and ready for the next guests. May not be suitable for the short-stayers or foreigners who are not familiar with the local washing, dish-washing machine. We had to Google to learn, LOL!

Really cute house in a beautiful location close to the city but far enough away to feel like you were in the country. Clean, lovely little touches like wine and crisps on arrival and games in the cupboard. Coffee and tea provided etc. The shower was lush. We also rented the floating sauna which was fab.
