Blackbird House Štanjel Historic Center

L'ambiance silencieuse du village perché avec des panoramas à vous couper le souffle est idéal pour votre tranquillité. Les ruelles sont un petit labyrinthe qui vous font plonger au Moyen âge. Les explications du propriétaire sont claires, le gîte est bien équipé, très propre, une joilie terrasse. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Es war eine sehr nette Unterkunft, die stilvoll eingerichtet war und einen traumhaften Ausblick auf die Kirche von Stanjel hat. Bei Stanjel handelt es sich um einen historischen Ort, der ein sehr gutes Angebot zur Verköstigung hat.

Die Küche könnte eine etwas bessere Ausstattung haben (Schüsseln bzw. Schalen haben wir vermisst). Zudem haben wir leider die Terrasse gesucht, da fehlte leider die Information vom Vermieter.

Very unique experience of living in the castle. Peaceful and quiet, even church bells at 6 am did not ruin it. The host is very helpful and thoughtful. The amount of supplies left to our disposal was unseen anywhere else.

The apartment was very comfortable; we especially enjoyed the private terrace to watch the beautiful sunsets over the valley. The host was so very generous and very thoughtful and concerned about your comfort. The refrigerator had a variety of food items that were very helpful for our late afternoon arrival and breakfast in the mornings, and the local bottle of wine she had for us was delicious. The water pressure in the shower was great! Štanjel is a quaint, quiet little town; we enjoyed wandering the narrow alleyways admiring the beautiful gardens in front of the homes.

Blackbird House is perfectly located (within the fortified town on a quiet lane), amazingly well stocked, clean and comfortable. We had wine and coffee on the outside terrace with a beautiful view. Loved it!

Blackbird House was a wonderful find. I’m so glad we stayed there, it is certainly unique. Absolutely everything has been thought of & you are in the middle of a medieval village! We had a wonderful experience & I highly recommend. Mitja was great to deal with & so helpful.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about the property! The village streets are narrow & winding, however good instructions are provided. We did find it helpful to park outside & walk into the village to get our bearings before driving in.

A lovely renovated house with great details. Wel equipped kitchen, lovely terrace with great view in the middle of the old village of Stanjel, an Unesco site.

The location was beyond perfect and the private terrace overlooking the 15th century church was magical! The host had the fridge, kitchen & bathroom stocked like a grocery store and his instructions for the parking & the house were helpful & clear. His recommendations were spot on & the speed with which he replied could not have been quicker. Seriously, we spent 4 amazing nights inside the castle walls & didn't want to leave. We can't wait to tell our friends to book this place.... so you better book it asap!
