Baan Nern Khao Resort Pattaya

The place is amazing a lot of time, thought and effort has gone into designing the complex. Breakfast is simple but has everything you need: cereal, toast, fruit, coffee, tea, orange juice, and nice hot soup with rice if you like in a nice communal area for people to meet and mingle, with a lovely little garden waterfall pond area. The staff try their upmost to help you even by using their phone with the translation app. The owners are a lovely couple she is Thai and he is Australian, so if you need anything in English and you can’t sort it out with the staff he will always sort it. We came home late one night and all the fuel garages were shut. Spoke to him and he sent one of the boys down to grab us some fuel so we can get back to a garage, so helpful and she tried to organise us a cab on our first day and she couldn’t get one, so she got in the car and drove us 20 minutes into Jomtien Beach. It’s about 20 minutes out from Jomtien Beach, but it’s all highway/motorway so it’s very easy travelling in and out. If you want to go into Pattaya you can catch a tuk-tuk from Jomtien Beach to Soi 6 Pattaya city for 10 Baht which takes 30 minutes and catch it back from Walking St, Police are everywhere pulling tourists over for drink-driving at night, so be careful as it will cost you 2000 to 4000 baht to be released. Ray and Pim who own this property were absolutely amazing. The house and gardens are exceptional. No complaints what so ever. The pool is a lovely touch to have available.

Very clean. The beds are super soft and comfortable. The pool and garden is beautiful. We didn’t have a car, so the manager helped us to pick up some take away. Close to water park that we visited. Manager booked a taxi for us.

Barn Nern is an oasis of peace and tranquility. I wish i had been staying longer. Pim and Ray were excellent hosts they went out of their way to make our stay more pleasurable. .i would highly reccomend this place.. Plenty beaches and restaurants nearby. You can get a taxi on grab for about 200 baht which is about 3 euro and a taxi to Pattaya Central is about 5 Euro

Everything was perfect

It's a pleasant and quiet rural setting in nice grounds with plenty of trees and plants. The rooms are decent size.

I was under a misapprehension as to how far this place is from Pataya and Jomtien. It is many miles and it takes a long time for taxis to come out and then get back in. If you have your own car then it's fine. There are no shops or restaurants nearby. Most of the time there is no English speaking person here so getting the key to our room took a long time. For some reason despite all the natural greenery the owners "decorate" the place with plastic plants: why? With a little more imagination and a bit more investment this could be a very pleasant place to stay. Unimpressive breakfast.
