Cozy Haus Relaxing 'Home Base' WiFi Location Close to Town and Rivers, Schlitterbahn, Gruene

This is a wonderful place to call home for a few days. The bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable as is the rest of the house. Open kitchen / living / dining area is great for socializing while cooking and eating. The bathrooms are large and offer roomy showers. The firepit in the back is also a nice evening gathering spot and there is tons of parking available. We also appreciated the extra touches in the house like some pantry / kitchen items, laundry supplies, and things that we forgot about.

It's really hard to come up with something not to like. But, we did have one event with a sensitive smoke detector and a pan-fried steak. If you are going to cook something like that be sure to vent ahead of time as well as during cooking.

The home is beautiful and the backyard is perfect.

Cleanliness was lacking. Clean up / clean out closets, pantry and refrigerator. Sweep back yard/ fire pit area to make it useable.

The location was great. close to town and right down the road from HEB. Large walk in showers, spacious living area.

The floors were not clean at all. I found this out because my son was in his walker with white socks on, the bottoms were black with dirt. for a $185 cleaning fee I would expect the floors to be clean. Also for that fee I should not need to take sheets off the bed and start the washer. The closets were not very user friendly as they had items piled in them. The living room rug was visibly dirty as well.
