Aspen Meadow Cabin

Warm & cozy stay

Everything. The location was amazing. We got to sit on the porch in the morning, drink coffee and watch pronghorn antelope and mule deer grazing in the meadow directly in front of the cabin. Even got visited by a little chipmunk every morning. We will definitely be back.

Location between Bryce Canyon N.P. and Zion N.P. Quietness

Many little things that were broken, such as screws for towel and toilet paper holders coming out of drywall such that they really couldn’t be used, flag pole rope’s flag attachment being broken causing their flag to hang upside down, warped rounded skillets making cooking with even heat difficult, broken foot lift on lazy boy chair making putting foot lift down almost impossible. Offering a gas grill but not the propane to use it and no directions on where to exchange or fill their propane tank. Offering fire pit but not the wood to use it and no directions on where to buy firewood. Not having turned on the heat before we arrived (temp inside in the 40s when we got there) and no directions on how to turn heat on (turns out there is no thermostat and one must go around to individual baseboard heating units and turn each on - we eventually figured this out after searching the cabin for 20 minutes looking for a hidden thermostat).

Is clean

The house was just as it was listed. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets and extra pillows. The best thing was that the house was clean. All of the corners, windowsills and ceiling fans and no dust bunnies. You don't always get that in a rental house. The front deck was great. Plenty of comfortable seating to sit and watch the sunrise and to see the pronghorn grazing in the meadow. The house is about a 7 min. drive to the village where you can find restaurants and a coffee shop. All of those were great. Also not far from lakes and hikes.

Tolle Hütte, super viel Platz, bestens ausgestattet und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es gab eine große Küche, 2 Bäder, einen Wohnbereich inkl. Gesellschaftsspiele, viel Platz zum Parken, eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner - alles, was das Herz begehrt. Vom Balkon aus könnte man ins Tal schauen und Antilopen und Vögel beobachten. Der Sternenhimmel bei Nacht war ein Traum.

Alles top, das einzige was schade war: es gab eine Kaffeemaschine, aber keinen Kaffee 😃

We had a very comfortable stay. The place is very quiet and cosy. I had fantastic sleep there. We also found it sufficiently clean and had all necessities we needed. Also, convenient base for visiting National Parks.
