Craig House with Heated Pool on small lake

This property was clean and in a convenient location. The owners provided pool toys, beach supplies, and ample kitchen items. The security system worked great. And they were quick to respond to any questions we had. I loved their “Use a little, leave a little” policy.

The mattresses could use a little more support. Extra/new pillows would be nice.

The location was quite, the house nicely maintained and clean. We like the small pool and BBQ grille. The accommodation was spacious and well furnished. The bathrooms were very nice and the living room had a nice sized big screen TV and sound system.

The remotes for the ceiling fans didn't seem to work and may have had dead batteries. When we arrived the door code didn't work but this was corrected within minutes so wasn't too inconvenient.

The location was awesome. The property was amazing.

Very little tolerance for children. Our every move was being watched. Miss information was being relayed to owner. Evicted from property at 2am with 15 minutes to pack and leave or they would call the police. We were there from Sunday until Friday morning. We were gone a lot to sight see. Thursday evening my 2 granddaughters were going to spend the night as we were heading back to Nebraska early Friday morning. So their mom, step-dad and half sister and brothers had supper with us. They left around 7:30pm. My sister and her husband were in Florida visiting some army friends. They drove 4 hours to come visit me as they were heading back to Maryland, their home, early Friday morning. Now my niece lives a couple hours away and wanted to see us also. They got there later then expected and brought their 2 small dogs. I immediately went out and told them that no pets are allowed. They put the dogs in the car with windows down a bit. They said they were going to get a room after a short visit. I went to bed early. Next thing I know, We are told we have 15 minutes to load up and get out. My niece didn't go get a room somewhere but her dogs never entered the house. From here on out I will look for kid and family friendly places to stay. I stayed there for the same reason before COVID-19 and there was no issues with the kids at that time. All that being said, it is a great place home, but I need a place that tolerates children playing and visitors.

The cleaning left alot to be desired. And the pool was freezing even after reaching out to the owners about the problem. Very disappointing.

I liked the location and the enclosed outdoor sitting area. The beds were really comfortable and some groceries/waters were left for us to use.... very helpful since we didn't arrive until 9:30pm. Easy check in/out.
