Vale Dos Milhafres

Our cottage was very comfortable, surrounded by beautiful flowers and an awesome view. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening wine sitting outdoors. Our host Henrique was so sweet and welcoming and available for anything we needed. He offered many helpful suggestions about the island;sites to visit, restaurants, etc.

Henry is truly a gracious host. Our flight arrived late and Henry went to the grocery store to gather a few items for us so that we would not go hungry that night. Very pleasant man!

The host Henry was the best! So nice and he gave us so many great tips! The view from our quarters was my favorite. It was a bit tight for 2 adults + 2 kids (we did have a separate room and the kids slept on the couch bed) but the wonderful garden/ view more than made up for it. Also, the location was ideal to explore both sides of the island.

Our stay exceeded our expectations!!! Henrique is super friendly and welcoming. Always available and gives excellent recommendations. The house is beautiful, very well decorated and well equipped and the view from the house is stunning... we will definitely return when we come back to Terceira.

What a wonderful introduction to the Azores! Within N hour of arriving on Terceira, we were at our cottage and blown away by its charm and the view! The proprietor, Henry, was so incredibly helpful during our entire stay and it was nice to learn a little about Terceira, which is where he grew up. However, Henry has lived and worked all over the world and has a good understanding of things that make a cottage a temporary home. We loved the sounds of birds, church bells, etc., and the flowers surrounding the property.

Our detached villa was wonderfully open-air with a sweeping ocean view . The neighborhood is peaceful and a short drive from Angra. The grounds are attractive and well-maintained. We had complete privacy but Henry was available for any help we needed. He greeted us as 130 am in person and we found cheese , bread and jam waiting for us. The villa was a delight to wake up in and return to after a day of exploring. There was a parking spot for us as well. Listen to Henry’s recommendations! He knows all!

Our stay at Vale Dos Milhafres wasperfect. Henry is a very good host and has a lot of great tips regarding restaurants and activities. He even facilitated our arrival by making a reservation at a restaurant. In the house all the facilities are present and work perfectly. The main selling point here is the view which is astonishing.

Host, location, view, property set up, you name it .. it is a great place to stay on the island.
