A pretty, well-appointed, and well situated property. Ideal as a base to enjoy this area of the Algarve or visiting friends & family locally. Local shops, cafés, and markets are all within a 5-minute walk. The process of booking, arriving & leaving worked well.

Depending on the wind direction, only once in 7 days, the smell of drains was present; a possible issue in this part of the world. The owners do their best to mitigate this. And tenants are likely to be out most of the day. Leave windows open (the house is secure if you do), bathroom door shut & cover the sink drain. It in no way spoilt the visit.

The host was very helpful and friendly, and the apartment was clean and good location.

The apartment is very small. The 2nd bedroom upstairs is not fit for a tall person. My husband is 193cm and did not manage to go to the bedroom. Even my mother in law struggled to walk up. The ceiling is very low, so you basically have to crawl. Bed and pillows were not comfortable for me, but for others, it was a very good sleep.
