Casa do Boco

Francisco and the lady were wonderful hosts. Beautiful room, delicious breakfast. A well designed swimming pool, the cats, the position in the village, the Oak tree. The whole feeling of the place, it felt like home from home.

The water in the pool was very cold, however I did expect that and I am a wimp with cold water :-) The mattress was a bit hard for my taste.

This is a lovely property with a beautiful pool! The service was very friendly and it offered an amazing breakfast.

During our stay there were some loud evening guests sitting outside below our window. Was a bit difficult to sleep.

Lovely apartment with a great pool and breakfast was a nice treat every morning. The host is friendly and goes out of his way to help. It was also a huge plus that the apartment was cleaned every two days

One thing that could have been nice would have been soap in the bathroom. Our apartment was facing the street so we couldn’t open the windows at night in the bedrooms.

Host was waiting for us, always really polite. He also promptly made a few suggestions on where we could go to have a great meal. We followed the advice and, again, exceeded expectations. I also would like to mention that since we were going to take the kids to see the snow, the host advise us were to go in Serra da Estrela as a few spots were closed due to hazards caused by the weather. And this was even before arriving.

Francisco is an amazing host, always very kind and available. The property is beautiful. The apartments are large and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We had an amazing family time!
