RoadHouse Madeira

Apartment was very nice, comfortable & clean, with good location - a lot of bus stops, in 20 minutes you can get to Funchal centre. 10 minutes walk to shopping mall with supermarket, restaurants & lots of shops. There’s also a private parking on the roof if you have a car. Beautiful views from the open terrace - great spot to watch sunset/sunrise with coffee or wine 😄 by the terrace there’s a pool you can use, or the a sunbath on the sunbed. the host is very communicative and helpful, she runs a restaurant a few minutes drive from the apartment (Road House) with delicious food, pizza & desserts (must visit!). You won’t be disappointed with your stay in Madeira :)

It was good for sitting out at a single location but we didn’t stay during waking hours. It was clean and included wine.

We were in the apartment at road level so there were constant loud engines revving all times of the night from the neighbors. So it was never a good sleep. The box spring bed was very uncomfortable and always poking us. I think they seriously forgot the mattress. Parking is a wheel spinning ordeal on such a steep driveway.

Perfect view, great pool! But we heartly recommend a car since the bus takes 20-30mins to the cbd. all in all a great place to stay for a week to discover the island. also fast highway access.

A spacious property with two bathrooms and full catering facilities use of washing machine. Very comfortable and good views. I would book this again in a heartbeat if I was not bringing WIFI dependants with me. A swimming pool is a nice plus too.

The coffee machine has an issue coffee is leaked into the tray below the cup. No Wifi kids hated that but myself and partner did not care but it did make our life hell with constant bickering over the issue by the kids. The oven does have an issue despite being told it had been resolved it had not, Electric shock when the oven is on and you touch the metal surfaces.

Comfortable room, spacious and very welcoming.

There was no problems or anything to dislike.

Location was great with amazing view from rooftop.

During the whole stay, we felt very bad, dirty, everywhere was extremely humid - after arriving home, we had damp and smelly clothes. The walls, the bathroom and even the kitchen - there was mold everywhere and caterpillars or centipedes were crawling there. In addition, despite the fact that a modem is installed directly in the room - the Internet did not work. Kitchen could be better equipped by for example microwave or bin, which are basic things to have in this kind of fancy accommodation

Beautiful 🌄🌅 panorama and sunsets from the terrace. Comfortable bed, bathroom and kitchen. Spacey apartment with big windows. Very nice host and easy communication trough WhatsApp. Good offer for the price we paid. Private parking. Well equiped kitchen. (You could add some olive oil 😉 it makes a big difference)

No heating in the apartment and in February we were really cold. Missing a coat stand or a rack or peg for jackets. In the bathroom also missing pegs for towels. Missing proper bedsheets. No internet! My mistake, I didn't read the description carefully because I took it for granted.
