The host was very friendly!

The place smelled a bit like mildew. It didn't feel too clean unfortunately, and this applies to the kitchen utensils, the beds, and the living room.

"A memorable four weeks here."

We spent four weeks in this nice house, while we looked after our grandchildren. Our host Jorge and his parents were lovely and responded to our every need, as well as superb cakes and wine. The living room is a great room for kids, in full sun all day (unfortunately we hit quite bad exceptional weather), and the three bedrooms more than sufficient for our needs. The suburb is quiet, with good views towards Lisbon. Secure parking for two cars.

Some renovation of the kitchen is planbed. The bedrooms tend to be chilly but I believe double glazing is also planned.

The complementary wine and apple cake were very nice surprises! Jorge was a big help with our itinerary and made amazing recommendations for dinner!!

A mattress cover on the master bed would be nice as the mattress is very springy.
