Baía dos Moinhos

This was our favorite property that we stayed in while in Sao Miguel for 10 days and honestly one of the most beautiful properties I have stayed in around the world. The property itself was spotless it was so clean, and the extras were so wonderful (outdoor shower, sunroom, large yard). The view...the view is indescribably beautiful. It was also a really easy walk to the beach and a restaurant and a great launching off point to many attractions. The host was very kind and responsive as well.

Everything! The views, the property, the hospitality. We can't wait to return to the Azores and to stay here again! Truly magical.

some tea cups were missed, so we just got a couple for less than 5 euro in the store, did not see it as a problem 🙂

Clean, spacious, beautiful scenic location. Extremely close to an uncrowded beach, hiking trail, and waterfall. Quiet neighborhood. Would recommend this location to anyone visiting the island.

We had such a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings that make this house stand out. With a direct view of the waves and cliffs and all the greenery around, it was definitely a breathtaking sight. The house itself was well stocked. It was also very clean. Everything is exactly as described and more. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Jose and Dina are incredibly welcoming and kind.

Beautiful large house in a beautiful location, with a huge terrace overlooking the ocean. Fully equipped, with a covered barbecue terrace at the back and clothes drying facilities in the airy place. Clean, nicely and cozy furnished. Special thanks to the hosts for the many delicious typical foods in the gift basket. The house can be quickly reached by car from the main road, from which any part of the island is easily accessible. The house is only a short walk from the most beautiful beach on the island, with 2 dining options, in a very cozy little street with typical Azores houses. The village also has a large parking lot, from which a beautiful, large waterfall with a small lake and a carbonated spring can be reached with a short walk. There is wonderful, lush vegetation all around. This accommodation is the best I have ever met on this island. I recommend it 100%.

Beautiful location overlooking the sea/beach. Incredibly clean and well appointed with plenty of towels, kitchen accessories, laundry, TV, and outside furniture. Central to all major Sao Miguel sights via car. Great seafood restaurant in walking distance from the house. We had a very relaxing and memorable stay here!

The house is very well Equiped (shopping bag, kitchen appliances, beach equipment,...). There is even a little room where you can open all doors and windows and can sit outside, even if it raining. The location is great, in the middle of the island, close to the beach

An incredibly peaceful, quiet location with amazing views. The house was ideal (easily spacious enough for our family of 4) and the hosts were especially welcoming. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay.
