We generally enjoyed our stay — the house has lovely decor with some unique and thoughtful touches, and the dishes are beautiful. We also appreciated the edible welcome gift from the host, which was a nice gesture.

However, there were quite a few ants in the kitchen, which made us avoid using it more than necessary. Parking was a bit tricky, and the dish sponge provided was very dirty, with no replacement — fortunately, I brought my own, but otherwise, it would have been quite unpleasant. Also, the blanket didn’t have a duvet cover, which I find uncomfortable and unhygienic.

"Superb"

Nice location with a beautiful view over Horta and to Pico. Nice terrace. Very pretty interior. AC works also as a heater. There is a washing machine.

There are no mosquito nets for the windows. Ants where coming in, but it wasn't too bad. The oven door wasn't closing properly.

Exceptionally clean and well appointed. Many helpful little touches such as coffee, cooking utensils, extra towels, gift basket and candles.

Smaller than we expected and we ran out of hot water.

A stunning wee cottage with loads of unexpected extras like a coffee machine, washing machine with powder and the most amazing view

We had a minor issue with the power supply but the owner was amazing and everything was quickly sorted.

We were very pleased when we arrived at the property. The view is spectacular. The property is very well maintained. The natural wood and stone gave the interior a warm cottage like feeling. The special touches in the design made us feel right at home. We even saw a dolphin feeding frenzy from our porch through the binoculars on our last morning.

Casa Mar do Triângulo is a lovely holiday home. Very nicely decorated and every little detail has been thought of. There was an extensive welcome basket waiting for us. From the terrace you have a great view on Pico.
