La Kaz à Léna La Plaine des Cafres

The hosts were very flexible in arranging a time to meet for check-in, and they gave us a great, warm welcome and tour of the house. We also had some great recommendations for the walks we wanted to do while staying in Bourg Murat (tip: drive toward the volcano and take the relatively easy walk to Morne Langevin...fantastic!). The house feels very new...clean and modern with all the facilities you need, and well insulated to keep the warmth in at night. The beds are super comfortable, and we all slept very well here. There are quite a few restaurants within a very short walking distance...so you can either cook at home, or have plenty of choice for lunch and dinner outside. If you're looking for a place to stay to explore the 'Plaines', volcano and surrounding area, La Kaz à Léna is a perfect choice.

Beautiful house. The picture on Booking did not do justice to the size of the house - it is much larger both in and out (hostess said she was going to change picture). Has AC (but it was almost cool enough to put on the heat), very clean, has washing maching and wifi is good. Hostess a wonderful person - warm and engaging. Close to an excellent restaurant (O'QG) and the Palais du Fromage.

Don't forget to add clothes hangers!

Owner was incredibly accommodating when I was stuck in traffic and late for our meeting time. I greatly appreciated that kindness. House was perfect, had everything I needed and was located really close to the volcano. I also appreciated the heaters for the chilly nights!
