Paradise at Canyon Lake

It’s a very lovely quiet place- a perfect getaway for a family vacation. It has all the necessary amenities and a picturesque view from the terrace- ideal for a slow morning coffee.

The property was amazing. Plenty of room. Nice areas outside on the deck. Host gave us so much information on the area. We really enjoyed our stay.

The whole area is so beautiful and it’s so eclectic! Truly a unique stay and it right by the lake to take a swim. The beauty of this area is absolutely amazing. This property offers so much to grilling on the patio, and just enjoying the sun to enjoying the wonderful atmosphere oh the living room. I definitely will be coming here again!

Honestly everything was perfect and more, this is definitely a great place to stay with family or just a partner, it’s a wonderful space!

Only thing I wish they had was a washer and dryer.

Quiet place after a busy day traveling throughout the Hill Country. The murals inside the property were beautiful.

The property, although functional, is tired. Unfortunately, whether it was the carpets, the curtains, the amount of items laid around, something else, or all of the above, caused me to sneeze from the beginning of our stay and throughout, which was one of the main reasons that we checked out a day early. Once I was outside the unit, I felt better. Also, the view from the house as promoted, gave us the impression that being upstairs, where the rental unit is located, looking out, that we’d see the lake. As for the bar-b-q, fortunately we didn’t use it, because it was not presentable (old & dirty). The water faucet in the kitchen needs replacing, so it doesn’t spray all over when you turn it on and do dishes. There is a button that should’ve worked, for spray or stream. It only sprayed in both settings. No stream. These are all items we didn’t mention to the owner during our stay because they require more time to sort out than we were there for. In the main / front room, we didn’t use the closet to hang our clothes; it was filled with an old vacuum and old dusty stuff, therefore to us, it wasn’t a sanitary closet to place our items. Having said this, “Paradise” is relative. Ross was communicative and we appreciate his pride and joy of the Hill Country. The recommendation to visit the Power Plant was great.

Loved the space and location!

Very clean and comfortable stay. We had all the amenities we needed. Ross was a great host and provided lots of information on the property and the area.

A/C was not on when we arrived but cooled down after about an hour. Then it was perfectly cool.
