The house manager was friendly and helpful as were the other staff we encountered. There were a few little things that needed rectifying, which was done timeously and with a smile. The beds were comfortable, wifi was very handy and TV worked just great.

It was very convenient for a one-night stop for 4 people. The property was easy to locate, correspondence prior to arrival was excellent, the unit is clean and comfortable.

It was pricey for an 8 hour stay with check-in at 2pm and check-out by 10am. On making coffee shortly after arrival one of the "travel-like" cups that are available, the handle fell off from rust and I was scolded with the liquid. I notified the "owner" after we cleaned up the mess and said I would leave the cup in the scullery for their reference - there was radio silence and I have heard nothing since. Also, they have a hairdryer available but there is no adaptor that fits for you to make use of it, so make sure you take ALL types of adapters with you if you are planning a stay here.

The cottage was very clean and cosy, it had everything we needed for our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Would definitely book here again.

I did find that the TV wasn't very loud. We did try turning the volume box, both on the TV and sound system but it was still quite soft. We spent most of our weekend exploring and out so it didn't bother us too much.
