Kalahari Cottage

Location was exactly what we expected... far away from the rush! Comfortable holiday home. Abraham, the farm manager, did go out of his way to welcome us, show us around and also took us for a game safari (highly recommended). Would stay there any time again.

Just a few minor maintenance/improvement issues/suggestions which were already liaised to the manager. Didn't influence our wonderful stay

Beautiful area

Stoep with the new plunge pool, swept braai area, firewood set up on arrival. Warmly greeted by the staff. Clean cottage, lovely setting in the Kalahari veldt.

Cistern in toilet leaking needs fixing but a minor issue. Road out to Van Zylsrus in very poor condition in some places

An amazing stay! everything was perfect

Nothing

The general facilities, splash pool, backup power (power was down in the area for a good couple of days and we still had power) was great. We were offered storage space for a large 4m trailer and a work surface which we are very grateful for.

The property requires insect screens. There is a lot of insects entering the property and takes a while to spray the unit with insect killer and clean everything afterwards.

Great facilities- and Abraham was exceptional.

All was good- a brief interruption in water supply but understood that there was a burst pipe - hanled well by Abraham
