Staying at Top Deck is like going home during the varsity Holliday, treats and spoils everywhere and being pampered and spoiled the whole time. The flat self is very nice and roomy, really good view. Lovely shower and nice bed with good mattress. Shower gel, shampoo etc is supplied. The kitchen is very well geared out, we cooked quite a few meals there! There are board games etc, and magazines and books to read. Very easy to drive were ever you need to be and close to a huge and really good OK grocery store. I would not call it"short walking distance" from the beach, if you like walking you can definitely walk there though, and at worst it will be 5 mins drive. Really quick to get to Cape L Agulhas too!!

The wooden floor boards creak a bit, haha, but really actually everything is perfect. If you don't know the Struisbaai area, you might get a fright when you drive to top deck as you might think you are staying in the industrial area...as you leave the main road area and then pass the small industrial area, but trust me the location is great, so don't let that be a worry.

The little extras & the friendliest hostess. There was everything that a person might forget to pack at home. Even complimentary yoghurt in the fridge & beer ☺️ As a couple we would definitely recommend as a romantic getaway.

All the extras that Iona provides. Chocolates on the bedside table. Drinks in the fridge. Biscuits and rusks. The list goes on. Loved every moment. And the highlight was seeing the stingrays at the harbour.

Our recent stay at Top Deck in Struisbaai was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Iona, our gracious hostess, made us feel incredibly welcome. Her thoughtful touches—refreshing drinks in the fridge, delectable chocolates, and a beautifully maintained space—instantly made us feel at home. The accommodation itself is immaculate, reflecting a keen attention to detail and a commitment to guest comfort. Every amenity we could possibly need was provided, ensuring a seamless and relaxing experience. The highlight, however, was the stunning view over Struisbaai, which offered a serene backdrop to our stay.​ Top Deck is truly a gem and a must-visit for anyone seeking a tranquil and luxurious getaway. We left feeling refreshed and deeply appreciative of the care and hospitality extended to us. Highly recommended!

Nothing that we did not like.

Very warm welcome from Iona when we arrived. Lovely array of small treats and drinks provided. Excellent value for money. Comfortable clean spacious accommodation which provided everything we needed. Large decent fridge.

Let down a bit by the ambience. Veranda overlooks some sort of warehouse complex. Veranda door rattles noisily in the wind.
