The cottage is very well equipped and spacious. Our host was there to meet us and explained everything. There is a carport and everything is kept in a mint condition.

Pacem cottage is equipped with all that you need and more for a relaxing break not far from Grotto Beach, Hermanus. Everything was so neat, clean and well-planned I would recommend it anytime. Pacem Cottage is situated next to the owner’s own home in a quiet street but it is possible to walk to the beach and Dutchie’s Restaurant. There are stunning views of the mountains and the ocean from the upstairs windows and the deck. The bedrooms are both located on the ground floor and were cool even during the hottest time of day. The two bedrooms are very spacious with plenty of windows and cupboard space. The one has a shower in the en-suite bathroom, and the other a large oval bath for relaxing soaks. The owner who met us on arrival, gave us plenty of information on access to the property and on things to do in the area. His help was invaluable when we ran into vehicle trouble on a public holiday. We would love to return and stay a little longer at this lovely cottage!

There was nothing that bothered us, everything was perfect.

Location was beautiful and peaceful. Amazing mountain view and close to hiking trails and the beach. Hosts were very kind and helpful. Despite an issue in the area, the host went out of their way to assist us. Looking forward to return in the future.
