Holiday unit 54 Eden Dunes

Location was excellent.Shopping Mall was in close promoxity.Spacious accomodtion.

Communication was not great.Had to wait for about an hour before check in.We had to leave at 10.00am on checkout.Toilet rolls and dishwashing soap was in short supply.

I liked the view of the sea, the apartment is central to everything so that's really nice and there are enough places to eat nearby. The only thing I can say that was enjoyable was the ocean. It didn't feel like a holiday as I had to clean the place which was a requirement we learnt they had only after arriving and reading through the guidelines file.

We were charged a R650 cleaning fee yet nobody came to clean. When we enquired about it we were told this is a fee for them to clean b4 u arrive. We were expected to clean the apartment and check out by 9am. Instead of this being a holiday it became a paid for cleaning experience as I had to get 4 kids done and clean the entire place b4 leaving it by 9am. Non of this is mentioned when you book, it was sprung on us once we had booked and enquired about cleaning. There is a lot of red tape that isn't mentioned on the bookings.Com which u learn about the hard way. There is also a damage deposit of R600 that they only refund a week later. Not sure if I'll get mine even though nothing was damaged. Very unprofessional and from what I gather a rip off. I will not be booking these flats again we were given unit 37 and parking was really far from the actual unit. This wasn't the unit we had booked initially.

Kitchen cupboards are broken. Bathroom door doesnt close/lock properly
