The house in general was good and the kitchen has all you need for a brain

The braai area is not in good condition, need to be fixed urgently.

The animals

The only good part of our stay was the animals visiting the property. Unfortunately, the house itself was extremely unhygienic and poorly maintained. The bedding, mosquito nets, curtains, outside furniture, appliances, and dishes were dirty, oily, or filled with bugs and dust. There were spiderwebs everywhere, dead bugs upstairs, broken or unusable facilities, outdated fire extinguishers, non-working aircons, a bad smell/mould issue in the bathrooms, and damaged outside features including the braai. We also complained and were told cleaners would come, but almost nothing was done besides changing one unused bed. Overall, very disappointing and not properly maintained.

Thank you for a lovely stay. The Giraffes walking up our street every morning was spectacular. Loved our stay there.

I would like to share feedback regarding my recent stay at the property. The accommodation itself was truly amazing, and I really enjoyed the environment and overall experience.

However, I was very disappointed by the handling of a noise complaint during our stay. We were informed about a disturbance, and it felt unexpected and upsetting, as we were simply trying to enjoy a peaceful vacation. I would appreciate clarity on the details of the complaint, including the time and what was specifically reported, as we want to understand the situation better and ensure there is no misunderstanding. We also felt uncomfortable with how the situation was communicated, and we would like reassurance that all guests are treated fairly and respectfully at all times.

In a great location with easy access from the tar road, every amenity catered for. Very comfortable beds, nice shower, plenty of hot water, clean towels. Well equipped kitchen with big fridge. Aircon in bedrooms (also in living room). The terrace at the back is a great space and is where we spent most of our time at the house. Nice plunge pool too. Plenty of animals come to feed, including giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, mongoose, impala, nyala, kudu and more!

The only thing was the living room/upstairs bedroom aircon didn’t work, but that will undoubtedly be fixed by now.
