The settings and house was beautiful..lake amazing and stars amazing..

But the house requires allot of maintenance and deep cleaning it was terribly dirty from the stove to the microwave and fridges.. we had to re wash everything we used.. Lacks fans and top room bathroom window nailed close .. no ventilation .. the outside furniture was in dire need of a coat of varnish and a good cleaning.. Cleaning it will make a huge difference

Fantastic location with view over the lagoon. Perfect as it’s just outside of the busy Hermanus.

Air cons would have been great as it was very hot in the upstairs room and the toilets use a septic tank which had to be cleaned out twice

Incredible location. Great house and beautiful deck to relax on. Friendly and helpful host.

Would benefit from a bit of a refresh and some maintenance. Could be stocked better (no shower gel, nothing to clean the braai with). Would benefit from some kind of Aircon or fan system, or even protected windows to allow air in without mosquitoes
