Lodge Twentyfour Mabalingwe Nature Reserve

The photos do not give the place justice, it's much nicer. We loved the place and will go back, for sure!

We wished they opened the gas pipe, as we all had a cold shower in the morning.

There was no Wifi available.

It is a lovely home for a family holiday. It offers excellent privacy. What makes this home exceptional is the private pool and the outdoor braai area. The waterhole at the house is also great for game viewing. We saw the most beautiful sunsets.

The water pressure for the showers were not great. It was difficult to get a good balance between the hot and cold water.

The lodge is beautiful. It is a true home from home with everything you need. The fully equipped kitchen has a large island, comfortable to sit around while food is prepared. The stunning boma and swimming pool add to the outfoor feeling while bedrooms and bathrooms are furnished and decorated with extraordinary taste. Elandsfontein is a peaceful place where you can become one with nature.

In summer months it gets quite hot. Airconditioners that don't run as loud as the fans would allow one to enjoy more of the bush sounds at night.

I had to pay the deposit before I got the final instructions and the fact that it went out by e-mail got it lost on my side. This resulted in last minute arrangements as we got to the property with bad cellphone reception. Also, there appears to be two gates with one more accessible so that would have been good to know the alternative entrance. I suggest that the deposit is automatically collected a day before occupation.
