"Its a beautiful property and the owner is an absolute delight. But the booking confusion was not fun"

Its a beautiful property however when booking i was under the impression i was booking two rooms for two adults as the house photo was displayed when i confirmed the booking.

The fact that it wasn’t clear that there would be 2 beds n one room and not two rooms as i specified in my search.

"If you are going to be in Beaufort for a few nights with a family, the Grey House is the best option."

Close to the Main Street of Beaufort-West in a quiet neighbourhood, very close to the CBD. Unit 1 was excellent, complete with a prepared fireplace, and self-contained. Everything in the house was excellent and great value for money, with a king sized bed main room. Staff was excellent. Being a visitor from Brisbane Australia, the Grey House was definitely up there with the best stays in South Africa thus far.

Nothing, it was an excellent stay.

Absolutely stunning place to overnight on the way to Cape Town. It was so spacious, immaculately clean and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The fresh bread and rusks were such a special treat. Check in was super easy and the host was in touch all the time to make sure everything was in order until we were settled in.
