Evergreen Cabin Karkloof

Beautiful property, it felt like the forest was inside the room.

Shawn welcomed us when we arrived and shared interesting information about the area, biodiversity and people. The cabin is more like a chalet. It feels safe and is fairly secluded. Very well equipped

It would be good to have a small study table, even a fold up one for work. A bedside lamp would be useful in the second bedroom.

The peace, the view, the walks, the firewood

So uniquely built, enjoyed the living spaciously. Loved the walking trail on the property too. It was perfect distance from the Karkloof trails. I also enjoyed the scenic sight waking up in my bedroom.

The utter peace and tranquility The evidence that the owners cared about their visitor's needs - there was even a Moka pot and ground coffee. The little quirky touches and the abundance of Firewood. I loved the walks, clearly marked and maintained, and of course the fact that there was no load shedding We will be back-up

If I had to choose something, it would be the mirrored wall in the bathroom otherwise it was perfect.

Loved the location, the views, the cabin, it feels like home!! Hosts are super friendly! Awesome place to just unwind! Fell in love with it and didn't want to leave.

Great location for exploring the Karkloof area. The Karkloof Saturday market and the Old Mushroom Farm were both about an 8 minute drive away, and even doing Nottingham road was easy from here. Lovely cabin, and nice indoor fireplace which was cleaned and prepped every day.

During rain the tin roof was very noisy causing most of us to lie awake. For the daily rate for self catering we expected the unit to be serviced (dishes and beds daily). Too few blankets in the unit despite reports of a massive cold front coming.
