To say the property absolutely exceeded any expectations we had beforehand would be a huge understatement. It truly is a special and magic place where to spend your time. The pictures online don’t do justice to the beauty of the house, the majestic views from the patio and the sound of the ocean right by your side. The communication with the owners has been flawless at all times and they went out of their way more than once with providing information about the house and local tips to make the most of your time in Hermanus. The house itself is very big and comfortable, sparkling clean and beautifully decorated, it made us feel at home right away! The kitchen is modern and functional with everything you need to prepare your meals, the dishwasher is also a great feature as much as the flat screen with Netflix and the super fast Wi-Fi. The bedroom is huge and the king size bed is very, very comfortable..it feels like sleeping on a cloud. Two bathrooms are also quite a luxury..we were just with the two of us but I imagine this house would be extremely well suited for a bigger family (there are two more bedrooms, one with double bed and one with a bunk bed). The area outside is a real gem, just a few meters from the ocean there is a big table and the possibility to do a bbq on the patio; we didn’t do that but we definitely spent a long time just sitting in front of the ocean drinking a glass of wine and recharging our batteries with the sound of the crushing waves. The area is extremely safe and comfortable, constantly patrolled by security which made us feel quite at ease at all times. All in all this has been an absolutely priceless place to spend our last few days in Hermanus and we warmly recommend this house to anyone else. We already can’t wait to go back.
