We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful period home. The house is gorgeously maintained, full of character, and absolutely spotless. It was incredibly comfortable and cosy throughout our visit. The owner and staff were exceptionally responsive and made everything easy from start to finish. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay and would happily return!

The home has a sense of calm

This house is massive! Each room is done so beautifully and the facilities makes your feel like you are in a real farm house! With its 2 lounges (both with fireplaces) 2 sitting rooms and braai area and all the rooms having such a unique and authentic farm touch, it was an absolute delight to stay there - it felt like “home” I just wanted to have my whole family there for the experience!

Nothing I can think of the house was ok for me

We had the entire house to ourselves. It was very nostalgic inducing. The outside area is very cozy.

There were flies everywhere (dead and alive). It was so bad that we had to apply Tabard to keep them off us at night. It seems they might have a pest problem as there are also an insane amount of mouse/rat droppings on the back porch.

All comforts were catered for. The house is amazing. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was heavenly.

We had the entire property to ourselves. The owner was kind enough to run through the place with us. We could pick and choose where we would like to be as there was so much space.

Location was excellent No meals provided as expected WIFI was outstanding! Bedrooms very clean and comfortable Security very good Fantastic hot showers! Bathroom with heated floor was lovely!

The driveway gate was a bit awkward to move manually , and did not lock. Perhaps it could do with a re-vamp and a lock.

Made very welcome by Anneline, who showed me round and explained everything to me. It was walking distance from everything in town. Very well equipped. Unusual old fashioned bath tubs but very lovely.

It is a really big house and I found it a bit overwhelming being there by myself. It has so much to offer for a bigger group of people. Huge kitchen, very well equipped, braai places, verandas, living room, TV area, huge garden.
