Longer stay :-)

We loved how equipped the property is in terms of all the facilities provided, and the exceptional quality of all aspects of the kitchen - sharp knives (I usually have to travel with my own!), excess glasses, mugs, plates etc. While the property did have a lot of consumables (tea, coffee, tinfoil, clingfilm etc.), I felt it somewhat inappropriate to use them as I wasn't sure if it formed a part of the overall pricing (maybe this needs to be clarified). We did use a few dishwasher tablets when our own ran out, and some wood to make a braai, so thank you!! Just a note regarding FYI's, please leave some instructions regarding garbage collection and recycling, as we were in the dark about this.

I think it would be nice to have the property serviced every other day, as we found many dead little creatures every morning, which made for a lot of sweeping up. It was also pretty hot while we were there, so air-conditioning would have been very welcomed.

It’s design and layout makes it accessible for large families to move around. The proximity to amenities is ideal. I most enjoyed the quietness. The fire place is an absolute treasure to have probably the best feature.

The house has a hot water issue. For some reason the temperature doesn’t last past +-30 seconds. The water heats up and goes ice cold, and doesn’t heat up again after that. This was apparent in all bathrooms including the outhouse. Cold showers were the order for the weekend. In addition, the living/tv room area could use a L-shaped couch set up. We found seating a bit tricky on the one couch and bay-window area, especially on the colder days when huddling around the fireplace is a must.

Frederik Avenue is an absolute gem. Everything you could possibly need is there. The kitchen has every utensil and appliance one can think of, and the bedrooms have wonderfully comfortable beds and soft pillows. Bathrooms all have the requisite body products and upstairs bathroom has a great sized bath. Lounge and dining area is expansive and has a wonderful fireplace to keep one warm in winter. There is an undercover patio built-in braai which we used more than once. A beautiful garden landscaped very well with a lush variety of plants and trees. When the gas heating the hot tap water needed swapping over, this was reported and attended to within 30 minutes. The 6 of us loved every minute of our 5 day stay and can highly recommend this to anyone wanting plush accommodation in Wilderness. We will definitely be back with our friends soon.

Perhaps upgrade the bath towels to bath sheets?

Location was good. Found the area to very quite and peace full. Will definitely go back again. was so neat and tidy. loved the lay out of the house.

Dust bin in the kitchen are lovely but bit unpractical.
