The Break at Kom

This was hands down the best property we've stayed at, in and around Cape Town, over the past 10 years. The house has a functional layout and is suitable for larger groups. All the ladies in the group would love the kitchen, pantry and scullery of this home. The downstairs games room was a hit with the children and upstairs entertainment / living areas a hit with the adults. The kitchen had everything we needed, including some pantry staples and emergency lights. The bedrooms and bathrooms were light filled and spacious and I finally recovered from jet lag sleeping on the bed in the second master suite.

The location of the braai area on the upstairs patio means that the sliding door closest to the kitchen has to be kept closed at all times if they are doing any outdoor cooking as smoke billows in otherwise.
